Winter Theme

I love doing crafts with my day care half pints and have tried to plan crafts to go along with certain themes. I try to read stories, plan activities and crafts to go along with my theme. In January I thought a fitting theme would be Snow/Winter. Here are some of the examples of crafts we did .  The kids loved doing the melted snowman using a mix of shaving cream, glue  and sparkles( it dries puffy). We also used the same type of home made puffy paint with the snowman.The snowflakes I created with tape and had them paint over it. Then once the paint was dry I peeled it off and it made a cool snowflake. If you are looking for some ideas for crafts here are a few fun ones that the half pints really enjoyed!
